About our Expert Sessions

Every Saturday from 04:00 pm - 05:00 pm, MoreThanMarks conducts Expert Sessions for schools students.

Through these expert sessions, we want the doers and professionals of the world to share some insights about their education, upbringing, lessons learnt in life, skills they can teach - help students see this world through your experienced eyes.

About our students

Students who attend our classes and expert sessions belong to diverse communities and backgrounds.

Some kids are from orphanages where we provide our classes for absolutely free while some come from more fortunate families who are able to afford private education and give their children an edge through MoreThanMarks classes.

Most of our students are between VIII grade all the way to Bachelors degree

What to talk about during an Expert Session?

• Share how education has played a role in your life. Something that adds value to the students. Example 1: Studying at your school or University

  • What was it like?
  • Do’s and Dont’s for students going to college.

  Example 2: Internships / jobs / working in a startup

  • Share your experience It's never just a job, it's an experience - the culture, the mindset, the place, the food, the boss, the impact it had on you, etc)
  • Suggestions for students: In school and in college

• Teach a skill in 50 minutes! Example 1: In one Expert session, students were taught how to draw comics!

Example 2: In another Expert session, students were taught how a platform like Whatsapp or Facebook or Google is built - Database, Backend, Frontend, Indexing, Recommendations, APIs, etc.
